Jordan Brand creates a unique capsule of Chinese New Year releases every year to celebrate Asia’s biggest holiday. As part of the Year of the Tiger, Jordan Brand is releasing not one, but two retro releases, along with the return of the Jordan Legacy 312. Meanwhile, the ultra-limited Air Jordan 1 Low OG CNY “Year of the Tiger” takes a literal approach to the annual animal theme with the previously-revealed Air Jordan 6 Low.
These elegantly styled Air Jordan 6 Low and Legacy 312 are both equipped with metallic branding and icy outsoles, as well as premium construction, which is quickly becoming the norm for CNY releases from Jordan Brand. In the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, we get a release that’s a little bit different. Limited to just 5000 pairs, the tiger-striped release features satin liners, top-shelf leathers, and bold finishes like oversized underfoot branding, contrast stitching, and the aforementioned animal print uppers.
Some Asian markets have set a release date for December 30, but most regions will likely see the trio in February.
