Kanye West has been working actively working on the Yeezy brand without being affected on the current global scenario. After announcing the official release date of the Yeezy Foam runner and creating new colorways for the Yeezy Boost 350 and 380 silhouettes, Kanye has made a big announcement. He has announced a 10 year collaboration with GAP. It marks what longtime fans will recognize as a lyrically documented full-circle moment. It all started when Kanye posted a picture using the hashtag #WESTDAYEVER.
This tweet got everyone talking and the hashtag was trending later that day. Following this he tweeted an official announcement of the partnership.
Kim Kardashian said that this collaboration was Kanye’s dream come true. Mark Breitbard, Global Head of Gap Brand, said “We are excited to welcome Kanye back to the Gap family as a creative visionary, building on the aesthetic and success of his Yeezy brand and together defining a next-level retail partnership,”. The collection is expected to have f men, women, and kids pieces “at accessible price points” and is expected to launch in 2021.
