After the sudden release of the YZY KNIT RNR “Sulphur”, Kanye West and his team are all set to expand their footwear lineup with one more silhouette: The YZY BSKTBL KNIT. As the name itself suggests, this upcoming “3D Slate Blue” colorway is constructed to perform on the basketball court. The shoe contains the same features as the YZY BSKTBL QNTM but comes with a completely different and new upper.
Instead of wavy quarter panels, the model features full PrimeKnit base layers that extend to a higher cut quite reminiscent of the Kobe 9 and Kobe 10s. The shoelaces and the bootie come in a solid black hue mated with toe boxes and side panels that are dialed to their nominal shade. On the bottom, the designing detail slightly changes with collars and mudguard areas going for the streak-y look and the mid-foot with the smaller windows in black and the toe boxes woven in tighter. Bottom pieces and heel counters are identical to the prior adidas YZY BSKTBL QNTM equipped with BOOST foam cushioning.
As per YEEZY MAFIA, the adidas YZY BSKTBL KNIT “3D Slate Blue” will be releasing in December 2021 for a retail price of $260 USD.
