Levi’s and New Balance Celebrate the Beauty of Vintage With a New Summer 2021 Collaboration
The footwear industry in today’s date is all about an all-out foot race on who can create innovative products alongside aligning them with the right partners and generate striking collaborations. A brand that follows the exact protocol is New Balance, and this Summer, it’s revisiting its partnership with Levi’s for a three-piece collection featuring a New Balance 992, a Trucker Jacket, and a 501 Jean. This range celebrates the art and beauty behind vintage clothing and is crafted under the upcycled Levi’s Authorized Vintage program that denotes that each piece is one of a kind.
The highlight of this capsule is the New Balance 992. The bird’s eye perspective may seem to make it look like the Boston imprint’s signature inline gray colorway considering the neutral-heavy upper, but instead, the featured patchwork suede arrangement enables it to stand on its own. Reflective Levi’s red tabs are embedded into the side “N” logos while “Levi’s for feet” logos adorn the insoles.
In the apparel arena, the Levi’s 501 and Trucker Jacket and Denim speak the same design language. Different shades of gray arranged in a contrasted and patchwork fashion form the design.
Grab a detailed look at the products below and expect a launch in August via the Levi’s app and New Balance on August 6. The 992s, the jacket, and the jeans will be priced at $280 USD, $400 USD, and $320 USD respectively.
