Louis Vuitton has revealed the first look for its upcoming Pre-Spring 2021 Collection. The collection is designed by Virgil Alboh, founder-CEO of OFF-WHITE and creative director of Louis Vuitton. The collection portrays chaos and nuisance as it is a “communicating core humanitarian values through poise, style and grace.” and “the core values of diversity, unity and inclusion.” This collection portrays nuisance and chaos by combining elements of daily-fashion and street-wear and high-end fashion. The collection includes a green gilet featuring a new circular flower monogram and a windbreaker covered in a leaf monogram that further nods to the utilitarian theme through its likeness to camouflage. Several garments in the collection draw inspiration from work-wear and casuals to overcome the boundary between luxury and the quotidian. This collection includes Chelsea boots, Derby shoes and all new sneaker silhouette with a semi-transparent and shock-absorbent sole.
