With a teaser image of a Tabi-toed Classic Leather surfacing earlier today, Luxury French fashion house Maison Margiela has more in store for their collaborative connection with neighboring Reebok.
The label returns with something a little more contemporary on the Classic Leather, after their wild takes on the Reebok Instapump Furies in 2020, appearing to keep the silhouette’s original design lines intact — save the brand’s penchant for split-toed trainers. A monochrome make rules the design, with a white-washed upper and midsole combo, with solid whites underfoot. Furry black liners link in with washed black tongues, laces, and branding panels juxtapose the aforementioned, and the pair comes complete with a special pair of Tabi toe socks.
Official images and a release date for the Maison Margiela x Reebok Classic Leather have arrived. Pairs will be hitting Reebok.com just as the clock ticks over to midnight (ET) on January 30th, or 9 pm PST on January 29th for those on the East Coast. Pairs will retail for $350.
