The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 High “Freeze Out” release was somewhat tarnished by allegations of backdooring against shop owner Marcus Jordan about three months ago. In spite of the launch being hindered by the pairs being distributed to resellers early and some sneakerheads threatening to boycott the store, Marcus isn’t turning down and has reportedly confirmed his next collaboration.
On 13th May, Jordan shared the news on twitter stating that he has met with the Jordan design team about a project.
Had a ‘design huddle’ today with the Jordan Brand team about the next @TrophyRoomStore x @Jumpman23 drop😳🙀🤐

Coming to the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 backdooring controversy in February, an industry insider has reportedly said that the employees at Nike and Jordan Brand are aware of the allegations against Trophy Room but are opting silence due to store’s familial ties and the bigger consequences it can result in. Marcus has however denied the allegations- blaming the early leaked pairs on thieves stealing them from the distribution center.
The model, concept or release date for Trophy Room’s next Jordan collaboration has not been revealed as of yet.
