The 1017 ALYX 9SM founder Matthew M Williams has taken to his Instagram to reveal a new brown colorway of the Nike Zoom MMW 4. The model is said to arrive soon, Williams made his debut in the high-tech silhouette at the Swoosh’s Future Sport Forum back in February 2020, the brown colorway seems to be the fourth iteration of the same.
The shape is identical to Nike ISPA‘s Road Warrior, the structure overall is bold, angular with a sport-infused design ethos. The Zoom MMW 4 has uppers made of dark brown mesh with brown taped seams that almost appear metallic, while glossy black midfoot overlays, Swooshes, and ultra-thin laces add the contrast.
The Zoom MMW 4 has all the eyes glued towards its sole, the black TPU plates in the heel, a slab of sharply-angled EVA foam, and a duo of visible Zoom Air units embedded in the forefoot. The original Nike waffle pattern appears on the outsole as well. The collaborative side makes itself visible via the repeating debossed Swooshes and MMW logos.
The pair is likely to release this Fall or Winter with an official date of arrival yet to be announced. If it’s in line with past models, the MSRP will be set at $450 USD.
