Inspired by Josuha Tree and Yellowstone in the later part of 2020, the National Parks Foundation in its second partnership with adidas Originals releases a special edition ZX 10000 inspired by Oregon’s Crater Lake National Park.
The pair reflects the vast and awe-inspiring lake in cooling blues, calming greys, and subtle pinks that paint the surrounds of Crater Lake. The piercing blues of the water are dominant at the CORDURA upper, tongues, liners, and for summer water — light aqua at the heel clip and medial pull. Surrounding rock is represented accurately in its rear and forefoot suede paneling, midsole and outsole, while the pink pops channel both the lake’s gorgeous pink-tinted rockface and West Coast sunsets. Just like the previous collaborations, the pair is completed by NPF-branded heel pulls and Velcro tongue patches up top.
