When it comes to collaborative initiatives, Suicoke has not held back done as the Q1 and Q2 for the brand has been satiated with projects alongside Nice Kicks, Wacko Maria, NEEDLES and more. And closing out the month of May, the Japanese stalwart is now linking up with NEIGHBORHOOD for the first time ever to present a two-branched MOTO sandal collection.
The design is based on Suicoke‘s classic double strapped MOTO sandal but features evident modifications both in construction and pattern. Shinsuke Takizawa‘s prominent imprint retraces the easy-on-easy-off model with an additional strap on the heels and decorates the underlying straps and heel pads with custom bandana patterns. Further embellishments to point out on these Summer-ready offerings are the NBHD logos that arrive printed on the heel Velcro sections and the white Suicoke labels that are positioned on the lateral ends of the straps. Two colorways are comprised in this capsule, one is a more muted black colorway with purple patterns with the other being an earthy brown makeup whose upper and sole unit slightly contrast with different shades.
The launch date for this collection is set on Saturday, May 29 via Suicoke, NEIGHBORHOOD, the NEIGHBORHOOD web store, and official retailers nationwide. The retail price is $220 USD.
