Continuing its drive in the footwear line after collaborating with Vault by Vans for a COMFYCUSH Sk8-Hi and Old Era, NEIGHBORHOOD has once again teamed up with adidas for a two-pronged pack. The duo has worked together on the classic adidas Superstar 80s and come with two fresh iterations, the muted black/white and olive/white.
Talking about the details of these kicks, the portion on the upper side of each pair is served with a premium suede fabric, whereas the accompanied removable shrouds have zips on them. The remaining part mostly comes with colors matching the base layers and zig-zag stitching. Branding pops up in a white tone on either side with the NEIGHBORHOOD written text right next to the tonal stripes. Furthermore, we have the co-branded poster on the tongues and the Trefoil sign on the heels. The black option favors a more contrasting aesthetic with shell toes and midsoles opting for an ivory coat while the alternative sticks more towards the tonal side.
The collection will be launching on August 28 with each colorway retailing for ¥18,700 (approx. $170 USD).
