New Nike Tailwind ’79 comes out with new, more breathable materials. 

In recent times, the timeless Nike Tailwind ’79 has come back into the sneaker scene, with both collaborations, mostly revolving around Stranger Things, and general releases. But after Stranger Things aired the season finale a while ago, the pair has been very lowkey, but we will be seeing a new colourway this year, one which seemingly is inspired by Wolverine, with a mix of blue and yellow materials, in a more breathable and comfy to wear mesh material, instead of the usual nylon construction. The oversized yellow swoosh provides a lot of contrast, along with its connected heel tab. The thinly padded tongue is complimented with the classic Nike branding, and contrasting Navy Blue laces. We can expect these to drop on Nike’s website in the coming months.
