Nike’s Air Zoom Spiridon season is continuing with a new colourway being added to the mix: The Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 “Team Red”. Being the successor to the Stussy collaboration, the colourways in this sporty duo continues the lowkey, minimal design, with vibrant coloured uppers. The pair, which was designed by the man Steven Smith himself, made its debut in the 2000s, and was crafted to offer a lot of lightweight support, and responsive cushioning. Even though sneaker tech has evolved a lot since then, the pair is still pretty appealing, as a reference to performance builds from times past. This colourway presents “Team Red” mesh, and sleek overlays, with vibrant lemon yellow swooshes, tongue/heel badges, and eye stays, which provide a bunch of contrast. The pair will release via Nike on the 3rd of June, with a retail price tag of $140.
