Nike creates an all-new colorway of Waffle Racer featuring Tongues And Heels made of recycled materials
Nike is completely aware of the hype that surrounds its classic silhouettes due to their simplicity and their overall impact on sneaker culture. This time they have revealed an all colorway of the Waffle Racer. The shoe has been created using recycled materials, similar to the previously launched Space Hippie as Nike continues to make its effort towards sustainability. It features recycled Grind fabric uppers and the construction is relatively ordinary as mesh and suede dress the unders and overlays, respectively. Other details include Bright green swooshes and pastel green shading, complementing the pinks at the tooling as well as the lace and tongue patch along with a red text and purple backdrops, adding yet another to the palette which is effectively reflected in the all-over print seen at the tongue. It is currently available for a price of $85.
