Nike launches the Air Max Triax 96 “Nippon”
Despite the cancellation of Tokyo’s 2020 Olympic games due to COVID 19 situation, Nike has decided on to release the Olynpic inspired Nike Air Max Triax 96 and Air Max Tailwind IV “Nippon” pack.
The name is derived from island nation’s original name ; both Nike Nippon sneakers are covered in Japanese flag inspired Polka dots with sharp and crispy accents.
The polka dots give a unique gradient to the shoe with dots changing from dark burgundy at the heel to crispy red in the forefoot. Both consists of the metallic gold trims and special Nippon captions. The text is featured on Triax tongue tabs and insoles while they sit on the heel , tongue and insoles of tailwinds. Triax has Japan Flag inspired detailing on the heel. Both of the sneakers feature white leather base with mesh accompanied by the red swooshes and gold trims to complete their looks.
The sneakers are going to release on June 23 on Nike.com.
