The 31st Anniversary of the Nike Air Flight 89 continues its releases in latest yellow and green makeup. The past releases were inspired by the Chicago and other outer space colorways but this time the shoe is dressed in Seattle Supersonics team colors.
The sneaker is covered in a mix of smooth and tumbled leather, with upper construction majorly in a white leather base. The lining around the forefoot area in the yellow color interferes with the white color of the sneaker. The yellow color also takes on the Nike Swoosh and the Flight text on the tongue. The tongue and TPU stays are covered in rich green colorway which matches with the Air Jordan 4 like underfoot tooling in the midsole. The midsole is covered in black which matches with Nike Air branding on the heel.
The release date of the shoe is still unknown but these are expected to drop quietly on Nike.com for a retail price of $120.
