Nike’s latest recycled shoe collection called the Space Hippe collection is around the corner for a global release and following it we have the speculated Air Jordan 1 High Zoom “Space Hippie”.
Although not much information has been floated around this shoe , but the sustainability driven design of the sneaker is derived from life on Mars.
The upper is made from Space waste yarn which is a dark grey recycled polyester made of scrapped plastic bottles and tshirt and yarn scraps. The shoe features an exposed padding , red stitching and black panels. The midsole of the shoe is made of a new material called Crater Foam which is a blend of standard Nike foams and 15% NikeGrind rubber with recycled ZoomX. Finally a multicolored grey NikeGrind rubber outsole rounds up the design of shoe.
The shoe is speculated to release on August 12 for a retail price of $175.
