Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 270 “Cactus Trails” release date finalised 

Travis Scott’s Nike collaborations have always had one specific theme in common, and that is that they are all always reflections of the artist’s personal style and taste. His next release, and possibly the least favorite for many, the Air Max 270 “Cactus Trails” is now coming close to its release date at the end of the month.

Design-wise, the brand tries to sell an overall “time travel” theme, and this is complimented by the ACG colour pops and the overall 90s look. The uppers have a vintage, worn in look, which is allegedly to convey a back-from-the-future theme, and the base is very neutral, with hits of red, purple, aqua blue, and brown elsewhere. The toolings boast a sulfur dye treatment, which aims to mimic the oxidation an object goes through over time. Orange and white embroidered swooshes are also present, and they subtly accent the back profile and fore foot. Custom lace locks, polar fleece collars, and tongue tabs add amenities throughout the pair. The preschool and toddler versions will arrive in a relatively similar look, aside from their more pronounced backwards swoosh. There is also an apparel drop which will take place. The pair will release on the 29^th of May, with a retail price tag of $190.
