The all-time classic silhouette of Nike, the Air More Uptempo in the “Bulls” colorway is set to make a comeback this year. The Chicago Bulls inspired design is the newest iteration of the coveted colorway from its previous re-release which was around 4 years ago.
The shoe’s uppers present themselves in a vibrant tone of “Varsity Red” highlighted with glossy black rubber overlays responsible for the “AIR” label. Apart from the red suede in majority, hints of white are visible on the pull tabs, patch logo and laces. Another characteristic feature is the 1996 imprint on the heel – the year where Bulls achieved a record of 72 wins and 10 losses, helping them acquire their fourth NBA title in six seasons. Other usual details such as the perforations along the sidewall, a white mini-Swoosh on the toecap and a thick-two-toned midsole accompanied by a translucent Air sole unit round off the Bulls inspirations.
The pair will be available on Nike’s website come 16th of April for a retail price of $160 USD.
