Joining the Dunk High “Black Acid Wash” debut, is yet another 1985 basketball shoe iteration as Nike reimagines it in streetwear drenched in a “Yellow Acid Wash” colorway.
Even though the rumors suggest that the pair is a result of the collaboration between the Swoosh and UNDERCOVER, there is no design evidence such as Jun Takahashi’s label branding details which suggest otherwise. A smooth black leather base shapes up the shoe which is wrapped with a yellow and black acid wash overlay and eyestay. An electric yellow hue paints up the Swoosh, collar and tongue tag while a mustard yellow midsole that’s sealed off with pastel yellow that contrasts the acid blotch pattern which completes the look.
The Dunk High “Yellow Acid Wash” can be expected to launch in coming months via select retailers and Nike SNKRS.
