Off White has arrived with their new Spring/Summer 2021 men’s pre-collection “What Stars Are You Under?” Virgil targets the problems and conflicts going around the world with his latest collection. The collection aims to revolutionize, reset and repair he world through the medium of tailoring and designs. The current pandemic due to corona virus and the social injustice arising have impacted our daily lives and the collection ponders upon the changes that reflect upon us.
This Off white collection has everything ranging from gloves that, when held up, read “I Support Young Black Businesses,” to a white hoodie that sports a graphic of a construction truck pushing the Earth along.
The elevated cuts and extreme tailoring designs rested on this latest collection is synonym to the recent impacts on our Earth.
The isolated and difficult times faced nowadays by many has been reflected through a bomber jacket from the collection. The piece is covered in a twilight scene; lights shine through windows at night as a reference to people staying indoors and finding comfort in isolation. Throughout the complete collection we have a lot of tailoring and some standout pieces are the sleeveless western shirt with complementing cream pleated pants, a half-belted gray pinstripe blazer, and a stunning melange gray double-breasted overcoat.
The accessories from this collection are contrasting to the formal look whereas the bags are offered a minimal look.
The pieces from this collection are expected to drop in stores within few months.
