Off-White x Nike Air Rubber Dunk “University Blue” Is Almost Here
Off White X Nike Air Rubber Dunk “University Blue” has officially surfaced and is going to release soon. The Air Rubber Dunk is an new silhouette created by Virgil Abloh and combines elements of the SB Dunk and the P-6000, and in this iteration, it also references one of the iconic Air Jordan colorways. The shoe is quite busy on the upper and has different elements that create a multi-paneled, multi-textured and multicolored upper, indebted in skate, basketball, and archival Nike design cues.
The rear of the shoe is metallic silver teardrop-shaped heel tab houses a “University Blue” Nike Air logo, while other components such as the gum sole unit showcase a window of Air by highlighting the segment in the same shade of blue. Orange detailing on the shoe further highlights the eyelets and Off white signature tag. Off-White branding appears on the medial mid-panel, noting the shoe’s collaborative nature and the year it was designed. Rounding off the loo is a set of University Blue laces that run up the metallic silver tongue, which leads the eye to a co-branded tongue tag. At last the yellow insoles are printed with Off White’s latest branding style sporting a black Swoosh alongside red Off White logos and black information.
