The 30th anniversary mark of the Air Jordan 5 silhouette has brought a beloved pair back into life with AJ 5 “Top Three” variant. The shoe is reiteration of the OG Fire Red 3M and now is used on many Jordan variants. Back in 1990 the Air Jordan 5 was the first hoops sneaker to rock the now-infamous and widely used 3M reflective tech, and it’s fighter jet-inspired, high-tongued and ultra-padded aesthetic became an instant classic.
The black colored upper of the shoe takes features from Fire Red and OG metallic pair. The midsole and PE brandings are taken from the Fire Reds with Grape at the tongue and lace locks. The pair arrives in special interior tongue tag that honors the three pairs of Jordans that are to be released in future. The pair is set to arrive on June 13th at Nike.com and select retailers and will be available in full family sizing. The pair is to retail at $200.
