After dropping 50 Dunk colorways, Virgil Abloh now is looking forward to expanding his catalog with folks over at Jordan Brand. Coming up for the luxury and streetwear designer is a two-piece Off-White™ collection that includes the Air Jordan 2, consisting of 2 colorways “Black/Blue” and “White/Red”. Out of which the official images of the “Black/Blue Colorway have been released.
On the whole, the shoes are styled with a more or less understated outfit with some modernized details that flaunts Abloh’s unique design language. A dominant solid black hue can be seen on the kicks that appear over the leather base, tongues, lower heel pieces, and the interior liners, whereas a bold blue hue fashions up the wings logos on the tongues, the laces, trimming on the mid-foot and the ribbed heel panels. His fixed traditional Helvetica branding is engraved on the medial sides accompanied by a hangtag on the laces. To spruce things up, the retro offering is highlighted with Michael Jordan‘s actual signature on the quarters and midsoles with a pre-crumbled aesthetic. Furthermore, the brand will give the kicks in a special packaging which will include a special cream box that has punched out holes and a creamy exterior.
With no official information released about the pair by Nike, the shoe is expected to release in the upcoming weeks.
