Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club was started on the philosophy that wealth is of the heart and the mind, not the pocket. Unfortunately for sneakerheads though, a cheap pair of their NMD collaboration with BBC and adidas doesn’t seem any closer to reality. Although they are infamously known for their sick graphics and vibrant use of colors, BBC has returned to its simple roots for its latest collaboration with adidas and its Icecream sub-brand, giving a nod to their famed Running Dog motif in the process.
The popular motif is clearly visible, embroidered into the forefeet, across both the shoes in an almost fuzzy fabrication. With a muted green ribbed base and brown toe and heel anchors, the sneaker lacks any further saturations. The white midsoles and liners, cream rubber outsoles, and black laces provide the remaining neutralized color accents. The co-branded heel tabs and insoles seem to put together the entire design of the shoe perfectly. The sneaker is expected to come in wild packaging, which would be on-brand for this collaboration.
To know more, make sure to take a look at the on-feet pictures of the shoe.
