New Balance 992 is proabably amongst one of the popular silhouettes and has witnessed collabs with JJJJound and Packer. The process behind the product and boasting a sturdy, made in the USA construction, the M992PK1 is a celebration of domestic, artisanal craftsmanship and is accompanied by a lookbook starring Boston-born, Queens-based artist Michael C. Thorpe.
Soft tans of rich wheat tones collide in artful fashion on the upper and is used on the supple pig suede overlays, which coats the sporty mesh base and throat, plus the suede tongue and plush collar. Pebbled leather pops up directly above the toebox and on the middle eyestay, and silver hi-vis reflective material appears on the midfoot’s N logo as well as the forefoot. Down below, white and gray EVA foam midsoles are loaded with springy silver ABZORB cushioning to make sure the feel matches up with the premium fit.
Expect the Packer x New Balance 992 to release exclusively on the Packer webstore come September 12, retailing for $240 USD.
