The UltraRide is the latest athleisure sneaker from the house of the house of Puma. The design focuses on providing the best performance hence the design is focussed on removing excess weight creating a responsive feel. The use of the “Reductionist Theory” is one of the key elements of the design as it greatly enhances the performance. Upper is merged with the supportive midsole plate and there are some cutaway sections on the outsole to create a minimalist design with PROFOAMLITE for cushioning on the sole. PUMA Run Train Global Director Erin Longin describes the design philosophy behind this all new sneaker by saying, ”With UltraRide, we designed the shoe to give runners what they are looking for in a running shoe. The lightweight upper and responsive PROFOAMLITE midsole, combined with the PROPLATE ensures a spry and comfortable stride for runners training for their next goal.”
