For the first time since its debut in 1985, we see Reebok rework the iconic Club C silhouette.
Reebok stays true to the rich tennis heritage by sticking to the original foundations of the classic pair, championing a retro aesthetic, rather than completely altering the sneaker. Club C Legacy, an apt adaptation of name with slight modifications been applied all around. For instance, the translucent EVA midsole adds to its visual allure, while the unveiling of five colorways appeals to everyone’s taste. Modernizing its classic leather upper and premium suede overlays are splashes of orange, baby blue, royal blue, green, and chalk.
The sneakers formed part of the “Write Your Legacy” platform to encourage consumers to delve into their own legacy by channeling inspiration from their environment. Given the current climate, the brand aims to showcase the importance of finding a perfect work-life balance and taking time out to concentrate on your wellbeing. For the Club C Legacy campaign, Reebok has tapped three creatives known as “Classic Collaborators”, to share their personal experiences of finding the calm within the chaos to focus on building their legacy – these include – Dan D’Lion, AWA, and Ego Ella May.
Introductory colorways of Reebok’s Club C Legacy have already been launched with the full collection set to release on February 17 via the brand’s website and retail for £75 GBP (approximately $104 USD).
