2020 was a phenomenal year for the Dunks, the species was released immensely in the year and made an astounding impact. A new wave of colors made its way and swept the interests of majority sneakerheads from the usual towards the Dunks. The Ben & Jerry’s, Off-White, Travis Scott and the Grateful Dead were some of the popular collaborations that set the bar.
Intact with its roots, the Dunks also made their way in their original shades such as Syracuse, Kentucky and many more to give the audience a touch of the pre-sneakerhead era. Celebrating the occasion, Nike put up a short series of videos titled the Story of Dunk on YouTube encapsulating the history of Dunks. Wrapping up the year Nike decided to experiment by releasing the Spartan Dunks, AMBUSH Dunks and the Bodega Dunks in the high top rather than the low top, so far successful.
However to start the new year there were speculations about Nike killing the Dunk hype but on the contrary the Dunks recently appeared on the ID section and left the majority confused. Hoping for the best down below is a list of potential releases for the year 2021.
