The cooperative sweats between Stüssy and Nike have been more fat in recent times, especially on the footwear side as the two parties have launched colorful colorways of the Air Zoom Spiridon 2 and Air Zoom Spiridon Kukini, as well as brought back its popular Air Huarache duplications. And with 2022 on the horizon, it seems as though we can anticipate indeed more common systems from the two parties as this black and white Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1 Mid collaboration has just surfaced. This marks the first time that the iconic streetwear marker has ever advanced its creative touch to this Swoosh model.
This forthcoming investiture leans on yin and yang-esque arrangement for styling. Uppers — which are constructed with a tumbled leather figure — are presented with solid dark overlays and Swooshes while the toe boxes, diggings, and collars discrepancy with white. Stüssy imprinting lands on the toe boxes in the perforated form, on the strips via an exaggerated megahit, on the speeches in its traditional print, and on the heels as a double “S” pendant.
Early reports have these listed to drop eventually in 2022, but Nike and Stüssy haven’t yet verified an exact release date.
