T Is for Torsion in the Latest adidas Originals ZX 5000 “A-ZX” 

Adidas Originals continues to carry forward the legacy of the ZX line with the newest “A-ZX” series sneaker, bringing into light a ZX 5000 standing in for the letter “T”, taking inspiration from the shoe’s core Torsion technology.

The sneaker marks the first time for the brand to take such a direct form of inspiration. The shoe is constructed with a technical grid pattern mesh weave and the colorways are the “Bright Yellow” and “Shock Cyan” of the Torsion bar’s signature. Apart from the new additions the shoe also features some classic touches such as the Three Stripes made up of webbing, carbon elements in the ZX heel cage and a black and yellow heel tab also made up of webbing.

Adding to the already “Bright yellow” are matching laces, a complimenting lining and a midsole finished in a similar shade. The change in color occurs on the tongue where a tab reads the moniker alongside ZX5000 and Torsion branding.

Concluding the shoe is a black outsole and a touch of “Shock Cyan” highlighting the Torsion bar covering the shoe’s entire aesthetic.

The pair was recently debuted on the brand’s Australian website on the 21st of January for a price of approximately $170 USD.
