Well-versed in the handbag industry, Telfar Clemens is now drifting more towards the sneaker market with his recent collaboration on the Chuck 70 with Converse. The shoes were first spotted during the Paris Fashion Week with Pro Leather and ERX models.
Opting for the Chuck 70s as the canvas, a perfect silhouette to fill with graphics. In the two-piece capsule, the lighter option is suited with an angelic base layer with uppers covering themselves with vintage blue oversized stars on the lateral and midfoot with “Chili pepper” accenting on the shoe laces and toe tips and the bald spots. The “TELFAR” branding makes its presence on the midsoles.
The alternative arrives in a more dark tone with the stark black shade on the background and bottoms. Oversized “2020” and “TELFAR” run across the shoe with slight hits on the midsole too. Matching its sibling, the famous converse patch arrives in off white suede materials. Rounding off the shoe is a midsole layering the toe tips in a triangular pattern alternating in greyscale.
Both the options are available on the Converse webstore for a price of $120 USD each.
