The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Archaeo Brown” remains on schedule to drop before the end of the year, even after several December releases were postponed until the first half of 2022. Images of the sneakers have surfaced recently, which reveal a number of reflective panels around the heel.
It has been teased since mid-summer, this multicolored pair pulls from tried-and-true autumnal hues. Similar to the “Mocha”-accented Air Jordan 1, the upcoming pair possesses a brown suede around the forefoot and at the ankles. “Wings” insignias on the latter components follow suit but boast a patch-like construction. Rich green, dark purple, and vibrant coral leave their marks all over the retro’s upper, but all of them support a silver sideways Y that appears around the heel and toe box lining. The reflective finish of these strips allows the Jordan 1 to stand out in less than ideal lighting conditions. By using contrast stitching and quilted inner-lining, the mismatched shoe box highlights the craftsmanship of the pair.
Look out for a Nike SNKRS launch on December 18th.
