While basketball and sneakers are the beacons of Michael Jordan’s legacy, his influence and impact stretches more extensively than that. Jordan Brand has been a rapidly growing on a global scale because the brand has an inked relationship with one of the most recognized football clubs in the world.
With the Parisian club recently being crowned the champions of France, they decided to celebrate off the pitch with more collaborations ala Jumpman. We have seen the Paris Saint-Germain x Jordan brand collaborate over an array of collections filled with kits, apparel, and sneakers. Their latest collaboration is the PSG x Air Jordan 7 which is soon to be released.
The shoe features a White, College Navy, Sport Royal and University Red Color scheme as the embodiment of France. This Air Jordan 7 trades the mid-foot and ankle panels for transparent mesh windows. Other striking details involve the “23” on the heel replaced with a fleur-de-lis and well as a visage of Eiffel Tower. The familiar “PANAME” and “ICI C’EST PARIS” are seen on the insoles and exterior flaps with a special packaging completing the design.
Th Air Jordan 7 “PSG” is all set to release on May 22nd at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $215 USD.
