The Levi’s X Jaden Smith Capsule Is an Ode to DIY Customization 

For the upcoming Fall/Winter season, Levi’s has tapped Jaden Smith for a limited-edition capsule collection.

Though the two entities have worked together on various projects previously, the upcoming collection is the first one which is designed solely by Smith. Smith put his distinct taste in printed graphics on Levi’s signature 501 jeans and Type III Trucker jacket. Positioned over the the jeans and the jacket’s front and back, the designs consist peace signs, an anatomical ribcage print and the phrase “Artificial Laser Focus Group” in black. The designs are inspired by custom screen printing which Smith does in his garage and provides as an ode to DIY customization.

Discussing about his inspiration behind the Artificial Laser Focus Group graphic, Smith stated -“I had a lot of fun working on this collection, he added “It embodies my desire to cut through a room with bright light, like a laser.”

The Levi’s x Jaden Smith capsule collection will be dropping on Monday, December 13 exclusively on the Levi’s app.
