Nike’s most experimental sub-label, ISPA, has become a sort of breeding ground for innovation, and has offered envelope inspired pieces and a lot of technically upgraded Nike classics. Their newest pair, which pays homage to past designs like the Air Rift, and infuses their own love for the fastening systems and air cushioning into the sneaker. The sole, which beats the Air Max 720 size-wise, is cutting very close to the NEXT% sneakers, as the ball of the foot is left uncovered, so as to emulate a springboard effect; on the front, the tooling is complimented by big air bubbles, which sit below the arc of the foot, and also the forefoot. The upper, which is mostly Primeknit, is similar to the Balenciaga Speed Trainer, as it showcases the same sock-like design, and ditches the laces for a more futuristic design. The pair will supposedly be limited to only 8000 pairs worldwide, so it might be difficult to cop at retail for many people.
