Following its FW20 “WHISPER OF THE WIND” collection directed by nanamica, Eiichiro Homma‘s The North Face Purple Label now launches a resembling iteration for its Fall/Winter 2021 collection, “ROOTS IN THE WIND .”
The FW20’s concept was: “As long as you have the eyes and heart to love nature, you can be in the city and lead a wonderful outdoor life full of discovery.” The designer continues with the same design language and commitment to sustainability in this upcoming season wherein the garments are dubbed in earthy hues in fresh and relaxed yet functional styles that blur the boundaries of outdoor and urban apparel.
The highlight pieces of the capsule include the collared corduroy puffer jacket, hybrid fleece-paneled bombers, lightweight down jackets, and 65/35 classic mountain parkas. For the bottoms, there are denim cargo pants with windproof knee panels and relaxed ankle trousers. Along with outerwear, the extensive collection is built to dress one head to toe, featuring beanies, T-shirts, cross-body bags, and other functional accessories for the colder seasons.
