The Italian Luxury goods house, Prada and the industry-leading sportswear brand adidas have come together yet again for a fresh take on the Prada x adidas A+P LUNA ROSSA 21 in a “Core Black/Red” colorway.
Back in December 2020, the trio of collaborative Superstars were followed by something a bit more exclusive to each of the brands. The A+P LUNA ROSSA 21 is one such silhouette that understands both adidas and Prada’s past. Nodding to the AC75 Luna Rossa boat, the shoe categorizes as hybrid, is sustainable, environmentally conscious and a source of inspiration as a whole.
In addition, the shoe went on to show the world the ideology behind collaborations. Dior and Jordan did it, so why should adidas and Prada hold back? One of the main aim of the collaboration from its inception is to dig deep into the realms of heritage, technology and innovation. Overcome all challenges of conventional wisdom with unexpected strategies.
Renewed and recycled material-based PRIMEGREEN upper and hydrophobic E-TPU outer shell arrive in a dark tone of black, concluding the uppers of the shoe. The Continental rubber-covered full-length BOOST midsole is no different and opts for the same hue. The signature red Prada branding makes its way on the heel yet again while the adidas branding graces the heel tab. More touches of Prada branding are visible on the lateral midsole accompanied by co-branding hits on the perforated interior. Lastly, the EVA tongue covered by quick-lacing laces is left more on the blank and clean side. Accompanying the shoe will be a water-resistant pouch bag which perfectly fits the sleek co-branded shoe box.
The Prada x adidas Luna Rossa 21 is all set to launch on the 19th of July for a retail price of INR 39,999/- exclusively on shop.adidas.co.in.
