This Nike Air Max 95 is made for cuban links
Though much of Nike’s attention has been directed to the Air Max 90, the Air Max 95 has celebrated its own quiet anniversary, delivering two noteworthy general releases, and collaborations alike. After a cat walk with CDG, and an eclectic partnership with size?, this sneaker silhouette is set to further expand it’s wardrobe with the addition of some jewelry, like the Air Jordan 1 High did with Melody Ehsani.
Finishing with the Swoosh branding, the adornment sits at the center, on top the left foot’s lace unit, with a construction made of bold, and luxurious Cuban links, which may be a possible nod to the Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon’s debut album. Made to be removable, this metallic gold chain locks in along the highest eye stay, whose backdrop compliments it, with a neutral cream shade. Elsewhere, the palette takes a much more dramatic approach, as pink is then interwoven, throughout not only the leather panels of the upper, but also the textile that constitutes the base, the lining, and the branding. The black toe caps feature perforation, to increase texture and brown gum bottoms and panels finish the look. The pair will drop on Nike’s website in the coming months.
