There are tons of Jordan colorways which we have never even heard of and these sample pairs go in the market for tens of thousand dollars. The same thing happened when Jordan brand quietly crafted a special Air Jordan 3 named the “Denim and Khaki” pack. The textile equipped set of AJ3 is in fact 1/3 samples -one mismatched pair plus full “Denim” and “Khaki” iterations – and most of the sneakerheads have never even seen these images before. These shoes were created to test the different materials that would hold on to Michael Jordan‘s third signature sneaker and were never intended for a retail release.
The Denim AJ3 uses a rich textured navy denim upper with contrast provided by tan stitching and a tan Jumpman logo embroidered on the tongue and a tan heel tab. The Khaki sample colorway uses mostly the tan suede for the upper with blue Jumpman graphics on both the tongue and a a white heel tab. Although the uppers offer a mostly inverse look, similarities are provided by khaki and navy elephant print mudguards, white midsoles and gum outsoles. Both these pairs are samples that were made to test the AJ3 silhouette materials and will never see a retail release. However to know about upcoming Air Jordans click here.
