Vans has recreated its renowned Acer NI, a minimalistic low-top iteration originally revealed in the mid-’90s. Coming in both black and white iterations, the lively silhouette has a clean monochromatic design that’s detailed by altering textures. Smooth full-grain leather is seen along the tongue and heel counter, offsetting the fragile suede uppers that prevails on most of the shoe’s body. The shoe comes with a remade throatline, accompanied by a tiny “Vans” tag while bold checkerboard patterns highlight the sidewalls.
Both colorways of the Vans Acer NI are now available on BILLY’s Tokyo’s website for $94 USD.
