WACKO MARIA’s Latest Drop Includes ‘Pulp Fiction’ Graphics and NANGA Collaboration

The Japanese label WACKO MARIA has just put out its latest collection of the season, the Japanese label often pays tribute to classic films. The Silence of the Lambs and the Big Lebowski, and now the attention is drifted towards Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction and NANGA collaboration will be joining the lineup rendering bold down jackets.

Pulp Fiction’s movie is depicted across a series of sweaters, long sleeves, short sleeve button-ups, and T-shirts. A handful of the pieces plates minimal design, displaying only the “Pulp Fiction” logo over a variety of colors. The rest of the lineup comes up with old graphics that reference the movie, like a pack of cigarettes labeled as “Red Apple” and a large illustration of the “Big Kahuna” burger.

The NANGA collab encircles down jackets and anoraks, colored in blue, black, camo, and bold leopard prints. One noteworthy piece is a camo-down jacket that’s slightly oversized. “WACKO MARIA” branding is thinly sewed onto the left side of the chest, lying adjacent to the “NANGA” patch logo stitched onto the upper left arm. The jacket comes with twin waist pockets and an internal zipped compartment, while other details like the jacket’s smooth nylon lining complete the piece.

The WACKO MARIA’s Pulp Fiction lineup and NANGA collaboration are currently available on WACKO MARIA’s website, ranging from 9,000-72,000 JPY.
